ISTR many posters scoffing at his fears.
Seems he was right and they were wrong, wonder how many
will have the balls to apologise?
Headline!
'Home Office underestimates migrant numbers by 30 fold'
Closest thing the article said in support of the ascertion!
'Over the past 18 months, some 9,000 new National Insurance
numbers have been issued in Slough, of which just 150 went to
British nationals. By contrast, in 2004 the Office for National
Statistics recorded just 300 international migrants settling in the area.'
By that, the title should have been.
Because it is a nice number,
comparing 12 months (of NiNo issuing) with a later 18 months,
we arrive at 30 times.
How many new NiNo the government expected to increase,
it did not say!
