About time Cameron and his ilk of out-of-date losers started saying
something useful. Remember Cameron's position against the NMW? How it
would create millions unemployed etc. Well, shows how much ability and
foresight he has!

Waldegrave: Will the right hon. Gentleman remind us who said that any fool
knows that if we have a minimum wage there will be a shake-out of jobs?

"Let me tell the Deputy Prime Minister about the minimum wage and the
effect on jobs. Since I made the statement to which he referred earlier, a
great deal of work has taken place in America and here which shows that my
fears about higher unemployment are not true. If hon. Members want to see
that research, I will send it to them."

it depends entirely on the level at which a minimum wage is set....
obviously if it is set at 1p and hour there will be few jobs lost
outside hakky and creepy

if it's set at £1million per hour even the world computer expert is
likely to be unemployed
