Tony Blair has called for a "technological revolution comparable to the
internet" to slow global warming.

Good idea. We can start by getting rid of the barristers in government and
replacing them by a few scientists and engineers who know what they are
talking about.

The solution is pretty simple by implementing a partial introduction of
solar panels on 20% of homes and 100% of hospitals, council buildings
etc.

Currently the cost of a solar panel is around £20,000, a new national
company should be set up to reduce the cost through mass-manufacturing
the panels, using prisoners has the workforce.
