I think it is you who have got it wrong, Harbinger. No one is
particularly stirring up anti-Polish feeling. It is admitted that most
of them are hard-working people. The issue is that the Government of
this country (or rather the entire ruling class) has no interest at all
in improving the standard or quality of life for the British people,
whom they are actually supposed to be representing.

Instead, they encourage mass-immigration because it increases the
profits of Big Business, which is the sole criteria by which the
Establishment operate. Not that I am opposed to Big Business, mind;
it's just that I don't think its interests should be allowed to dictate
every aspect of every policy to the evident detriment of the People.

You come out with the old chestnuts about how immigrants do the menial
jobs that native Britons turn their nose up at. And it sounds to me as
if you are just an overprivileged snob. Menial jobs would be a lot
more attractive to jobseekers if the wages were half-decent, and if
there was not an endless supply of cheap labour available for
cut-throat wages, employers would be obliged to pay decent wages to
those at the bottom of the working scale. That is elementary
economics. It is just amazing how the Left and the Unions are in
cahoots with Big Business on this issue. It's even more amazing how so
many ordinary, working people still vote for Labour to slit their
throats.

As for the level of unemployment, even the official figures show that
it is nearly one and a half million. Yet we are supposed to
congratulate the Government on keeping unemployment low. One and a
half million is not low. It is way too high. And a few decades ago,
it was regarded as a national disaster when the one million umemployed
mark was reached. Now apparently it's just dandy - unless your one of
them, queueing up at the dole office and hoping, at best, for a minimum
wage job - which might just be given to that newly arrived Pole in
front of you in the queue.

To me you seem like a complacent, overprivileged Establishment
supporter, Harbinger, with no sympathy for your fellow Britons.

Somebody in this doesn't understand numbers.

Assuming the three quarters of a million are ADULTS - where the hell are
they living?. Thats three times the total population man woman and child of
the London Borough of Bromley. What are they doing all day? Sorry this is
bollox. I travel trains in the most mulicultural suburbs of south London
every day and I can tell you the big numbers are Russians, not Poles.Even
then the numbers are rubbish.

Sincerely,
Wolf
