You are rather assuming that we have democracy in this country in the
first place. If democracy means "rule by the people|" that is hardly
compatible with the destruction of national identity and the programme
on ongoing racial genocide represented by mulitracialism.
The basis of democracy has always been that there is a common culture
and a common currency of inherited ideas and ethics in a society, as
well as shared allegiances. Multiculturalism causes democracy to
break down by creating fissures within society along racial and
religious lines. At present, there seems a serious risk of the
multi-hotchpotch society collapsing in on itself and escalating into
civil war. After all, if so much dissension arises from a few cartoons
in an obscure Danish publication, what would happen if a really serious
crisis broke out?
This problem is, admittedly, particularly acute with regard to the
Islamic community in this country, because Islam (unlike many
religions) traditionally has a political aspect, namely the creation
and extension of a worldwide Caliphate. All Muslims look back on the
time when the Islamic Ummah was united under a succession of Caliphs,
who were viewed as the rightful inheritors of Mohammed. This is a
tradition of theocracy of which (apart from Tibet and the Papal States)
I can think of no other example in history. So Muslims face the
difficult choice: do they repudiate their Muslim inheritance, or do
they remain at arm's length from Western democratic societies? ...
