UKIP in poll victory

I don't know if folks have commented on this already -- apologies if they have -- but the BBC Today Programme's poll last week that had most people saying that José Manuel Barroso runs Britain (I was more intrigued by the fact that Google came 8th in it, one percentage point in the vote behind Tony Blair) was apparently rigged by UKIP in the hope of creating some Euro-sceptic headlines.
Despite the fact that the Guardian ran the story on Thursday http://politics.guardian.co.uk/eu/story/0,9061,1678066,00.html and it was picked up yesterday by yesterday by The Observer http://observer.guardian.co.uk/business/story/0,6903,1681295,00.html and The Times today http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,3284-1976380,00.html
the Today programme haven't mentioned it that I've noticed. Odd that.
Steve .
