Certainly it's my opinion that this piece of reporting by the BBC was unbalanced, uninformative and frankly tardy. Not good enough.
The BBC, I note, also neglected to mention the role played in this dispute by a colleague of Mr Akhtar, 'Andrew Devine, 38, also of Oldham, [who] also pleaded guilty to theft and is awaiting sentence'. Andrew is a funny name for an Asian, but it takes all sorts...
