Define illogical.
And then explain how my post was 'illogical crap'....bearing in mind that I
an *NOT* actually saying xxx happened, or that anyone is trying to cover
anything up.
I mearly stated why I personally thought it 'strange'....and followed my
thoughts with a request that anyone with any aviation knowledge might want
to contribute 'their' thoughts......
And coming on the back of quite a few other airline 'incidents'....and
immediately before the Venezuala crash.....it is 'statistically odd' if
nothing else!
I'm looking for people who might have enough aviation experience to blow
away any 'conspiracy theories'....and I'm trying to remain neutral enought
to want to see them blown away if possible.....instead, I find you....who
fails to make any substantive comment.

You did not make a constructive point at all Fred.
"all air crashes, where the reason is not know, seem strange, until
explained"
is not even the start of any explanation!
There has (to my knowledge) never been an air crash that wasn't eventually
'explained'.....Airline crash investigation is an whole industry in
itself.....the people involved make it their business never to say "after
investigation, we have no fucking idea what happened here"......their
'credibility' would be shot to ***.
Conversly, there have been very many air crashes, where the stated 'reason'
that was eventually given did not fit with the facts.....Not suggesting
anything 'strange' in these crashes....just the suggestion that airline
crash investigators will try to 'fix the facts around their theory (fix the
facts...where have I heared 'that' before?)...rather than admit defeat!

So your 'constructive comment' "all air crashes, where the reason is not
know, seem strange, until explained" is not very constructive....because
there have been many documented cases where the crash seems stranger
*following* the explanation...than it did before!

But there MUST be someone reading this NG who has enough aviation knowledge
to give a more expert opinion surely?
Because that person is not me.
And clearly it's not you either Fred is it?
