another interesting and rather obscure comment :-)
i'm a pragmatist....not a dogmatist....i want a working system that
leave people alone....
socialism is not such a system...neither is islam...
they are both highly intrusive systems of busybodying.....
i want franchise by examination...
and it won't be an examination in socialist or islamic dogmas!
it will be an examination in practical problem solving in the political
arena...
iterate please!

these systems are conditioned in....they are not a matter of
pragmatics but matters of dogma....

Thus, you may remark upon the amazing co-incidence that almost every
person raised in Rome ends up a good catholic, nearly everyone raised in
soviet Moscow was a believing Marxist, while in Saudi Arabia it is
difficult to find any person who does not just know in their bones that
Islam is the true way.
you can teach the young to believe *anything* however ludicrous....
i want the young taught to think about the real world....
not learn a lot of mantras without relevance to the real world beyond
the nonsense conditioned into the last lot....
>All that is needed to understand this is empathy, surely. ?
i don't do empathy as i don't read minds....
empathy is a delusion....an arrogance....

not entirely true....by a long chalk!
mosley wanted to fight for britain against germany....
here's a start for you

but it is the swamp in which aramis....and now you...are paddling....
that now seriously interests me :-)
