I asked the Bishop of Bath & Wells to excommunicate me so as to
discharge this promise, but the *** refused.
Baptism, confirmation, excommunication - they all sound like fairy-believer rituals to me.
I'd put confirmation down as covered by the 'unfair contract terms' act.
In any case, who have they made a promise to? Surely to a mythological deity.
