How do old humanists enter senility gracefully?
If the brain cells supporting humanism and are/or gracefullness die
then there is no solution.
A better question is how do humanists retain their essential faculties
and know when (and how) to take the appropriate cocktail of drugs.
But the capacity to know you are becoming gracelessly senile might "go
first", and/or you may be forced to endure senility by the state.
Then again, you might decide that you don't care how you enter
senility. If you fully accept you might become a graceless
fundamentalist Christian when you're 85 then the time till then might
be less angst ridden.
