I really dont know what you mean by "swaying" someone with a
study.
The
ideas described in the article are not very new or original or
even
too
controversial.

Not controversial????? where have you been in the last decade? The
whole
thing about the short serotonin allele and depression *risk* after
traumatic life events was that it was NEITHER nature or nurture,
NEITHER
genes or environment. It was both. That is why that study was not
mentioned in the article, because it is part of a body of
literature
that has made it plain that the old dichtomies were wrong, and the
answer is in the interactions. Because it related to the holy
grail of
the human brain it was if anything the killer paper.

It is this that makes its absence from the article in question so
revealing, in association with the words themselves.

Could you provide the reference for "the article in question"?

Try the originating article in this thread.

Maybe I wasnt clear. You make reference to a certain study which you
claim
was intentionally not mentioned in the article. Which study is that?

yourself.

Why do you have such shitty attitude? Is that time of the month?

I don't have a shitty attitude, and mysoginist comment noted. There is
truth in the statement: give a man a fish and he will eat for a day,
give him a net and teach him to fish and he can feed his family all
year.

I would have to go to Pubmed to find the paper, but then you only have
one paper. By leading you to Pubmed you can find all the papers you want
all year long. I am empowering you, so be more grateful.
