I refuse to even consider the idea that simplistic terms like rocks, dirt
and gas relate to any theory of evolution or even contribute to
speculation
about how abiogenesis may have occurred.

You would not consider preparing a three course meal for 100 people with a
shopping list of some meat, a bit of fat and flour. Why would you think
that approach would work when discussing science?

Oh and that goes for the whirlwind in the junkyard metaphor also.- Hide

REPLY:  Oh I see...you refuse to even consider how personality traits
ultimately came from rocks, dirt, etc...but you DO KNOW that  they
didnt (and must not) come from a personal Creator with personality.

//I read some interesting research recently on how RNA has been succesfully
formed from random nucleotides and further work being done describing the
formation of spherical vesicles from fatty acids. They then went on to show
how the primitve RNA strands easily combined with the vesicles.

Another researcher has shown how ice can influence the formation of RNA
molecules due to the electric charges in the atoms of the ice crystals. This
as you would see has implecations to the argument against such molecules
forming randomly because the chances of that happening are too high.
The position of the charged atoms in the ice crystals act in a way similar
to natural templates.

Although probably of little use to you with your agenda I have included
links to these articles, however they are reletivly long if you are not much
of a reader or are not interested in material of a scientific nature.
They certainly go way beyond your rocks, dirt and gas as possible beginings
for origins for life and certainly give more insight into how life may have
began.//

Well, perhaps you should give some more serious attention to the
absurd because you dont want to believe in and follow and submit your
life to the Creator  , for,  if theres no personal Creator then Rocks,
Dirt, Planets, One Celled Pond Scum  gave you your personality
traits.  And not even a young child of 7 would have that much Faith.

//When they were seven my children had a much better grasp on science than
your rather apparently rather minimalist view of the possible materials
involved in the formation of early life seems to indicate, the eldest for
instance took more than a little pride in reciting the first 50 elements on
the periodic table well before secondary school and had a good grasp on the
various states of matter.//

REPLY: How did DNA come about (without intelligence) when it takes
DNA to make DNA ? Is your faith centered in an accidental pond
protozoa that accidentally and eventually turned into some 60
different systems making up the Human Anatomy plus many many
subsystems all working collaboratively with one another so you could
live ?? If this is your faith...then you certainly have much more
faith than any Theist/Christian does .
