Thanks for the reply. I genuinely appreciate your comments.
I hope we can continue to discuss issues at a later date, even though we
appear to be on opposing sides....!!
Off to watch the Tour de France in a few hours... will wait for an hour
or so on friday for the 'tete' to pass by the end of our lane only to feel
the air pressure and *wooosh* as the pack go past, downhill, at around
70kph in about 3 seconds...... not much of a spectator sport this
cycling lark.......

You are welcome. We are on the same side, we are both seekers the truth
really and imho those that seek it will, eventually, find it.

The tour is great but better to watch it on the telly I think and then spend
one's time in France appreciating the slower things they offer, like a good
Burgundy.

perhaps just as important, the fromage. Especially because in France it
is served at exactly the right temperature.
