It is, in my opinion, not close to being outside of the charter and it
certainly is not hostile or inflammatory in tone [.. the reason, I
believe, that was given for rejection..].

Anyway, from now on, I will be reading this group, so feel free to post any

some polysyllables ;-) Welcome to upa, please do hang around for no
other reason than theists are thin on the ground here. There is Dave
from Illinois aka ItisDave, our resident troll from across the pond and
Phil Saunders who seems to lurk more than post but I am always aware he
is likely to be reading.
I will however repeat my warning from urc, the bible is not regarded
here as any more authoritative than say the Lord of the Rings. That
applies to the 'history' it contains as well as that requires outside
confirmation, if we have that why do we need the bible? so hopefully we
can help you to argue without quoting the good book ;-)
