?That effin dug is a wind up merchant. Half an hour I spent in the back garden trying to catch him so I could come in for a nice cup of tea, the whole time he thought I was playing "try and get the stick off Oscar" and ran round me in a clockwise direction with a stick in his mouth wagging his stumpy tail. He was having such a good time I couldn't get angry with him. Eejit.
I was just going down to put the recycling out, but all the recycling bins were stuffed full of stuff. I sneaked into the next garden (where they throw their rubbish out the window in the general direction of the bin shed) and found, surprisingly enough, that their recycling bins were completely empty, so I just put my recycling in one of them. I've got this big huge bin bag that can hold enough to completely fill a wheelie bin and then some.
I don't have a pet because I'd be too afraid of it dying, but I do have lots
of houseplants! The wonderful thing about houseplants is that you can chop a
bit off and put it in a jar of water to root, and then pot it, and then you
have two!

I just tried that with the cat. Think I might need to take him to the vet tomorrow if he doesn't take root by then.........
