It's a good job ants don't get depressed.
How do you know that? Mammals suffer emotions, as do some birds (swans usually mate for life and if one dies the partner sometimes dies of a 'broken heart'). Even goldfish possess the ability to be trained so their tiny brains are capable of some anthropomorphic(?) functions. Even my computer has its off-days when it goes slow.
I really identify with that ant...
It's performing a much more useful function than most politicians.
