Hiya everyone
I've got a couple of days left before I start on my new multi-vitamins and
I've just got a quick question that I hope someone can help me with please!
I've got 360 days of multivitamins and 360 days of calcium and magnesium
waiting for me when I've finished the original pills. Would it be OK to
take the calcium and magnesium at the same time as the multivitamins or
should I give the calcium and magnesium pills to Steve?
I only got the calcium and magnesium pills 'cos I know I'm not getting
enough calcium as I'm allergic to milk products so I'm missing out there!
Look on the bottle of multivitamins.
If it's /just/ a multivitamin preparation, with no minerals listed, then
there can be no problems - assuming you're bought mineral supplements
suitable for people, with a suitable dose marked up.
Read these pages - you'll find it useful:

<http://www.independentliving.co.uk/mineral1.html>
<http://www.umm.edu/altmed/articles/magnesium-000313.htm>
(it's unusual to overdose on magnesium, apparently - your kidneys do a
good job of getting rid of it, apparently, but that assumes you're
drinking enough water...)
