Depends on your point of view. My point of view is telling the wankers
who produce that magazine what wankers they are for calling Corrie `The
Street'.

That's the sole purpose of suggesting a caption like that.

There was a bloke on `Front Row' (R4 arts programme) a few months back
who pulled up Mark Lawson (the presenter) for doing exactly that and had
a right bloody go at him for being such a pretentious middle class
London-based media wanker and while I used accurately to be describably
myself in exactly those terms, I'd never considered calling `Coronation
Street' `The Street' (I usually refer to it as `some bloody awful soap,
who cares?' or similar, if at all).
