no, i keep my Texas euphemism under my bed.

I'll bet it's BIG.

Once upon a time, I went to a conference in Dallas. One morning, I
tried to find something to listen to on the radio. I have difficulty
starting the day without a dose of speech radio (and tea[1]) - which
means <http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/> if I'm at home.

So I twirled the dial (well, held down the tuning button). Lotsa music.
Blech. Aha! Speech! Oh. A phone-in. And what do we have here?
People phoning in so that everyone tuned in can hear the sound of their
vibrator running.

At that, it was more intelligent than local radio phone-ins on
Merseyside...

Rowland.

[1] Decent tea is a problem when there's no kettle and only a coffee
filter machine - coffee machines deliver water just *off* the boil,
damnit. It turned out that this huge hotel had only one means of
providing boiling water: a pan on the stove in the kitchen. Argh!!!!!

I blame Thomas Edison[2].

[2] It's his fault that the USA has feeble 110V domestic electricity,
and 110V 10A is such a feeble amount of power it takes *ages* for an
electric kettle to boil - at least, I assume that's why the things are
generally not seen in the USA. I tried trawling the electrical goods
shops for a kettle - not one in stock anywhere I went.
