My "therapist" (the computer program) suggested Deep Breathing.<hoots with laughter> My, isn't /that/ useful.
I've never understood why the so-called `experts' think that doing
physical relaxation stuff is supposed to help with a problem that's
purely inside my head.
I think the idea is I'm supposed to think about my Deep Breathing and
stop thinking about My Problems.
And what mystical, magical process is supposed to do that, then? Never
bloody works with me.
Unfortunately it's a bit difficult doing Deep Breathing when I'm at
work. The public would find it strange.
What's `work'?
I usually retire to bed with tea and chocolate and quiver quietly. The problem with that plan is that it does nothing to help me get over
the screaming inside my head. I'd be stuck in bed 24/7, sortathing.
Mmmm. I find it's usually fairly self-limiting. After a while I feel
better, fall asleep, or have to get up for more tea and chocolate.
I end up feeling worse and worse if I do nothing, no matter what. I
tend to end up in a worse state no matter what in any case.
Rowland.
