What Pub Landlord (the poster you replied to) wants to achieve is angry
and upset reactions from those who read his posts; he also wants to
achieve dissention amongst the posters he so they get each other angry
and upset too.

It is nothing more than a malicious boil on the backside of humanity.

The best thing to do is ignore it. Yes, `it' - Pub Landlord is
subhuman, lower on the scale of evolution than trees[1], possibly on a
par with slime mould.
