Probably, yes.
But they'd probably not taste very good. They look to be Coprinus
atramentarius or possibly one of the other Coprinus species. They are
edible, but if you take them within a day of drinking alcohol they can make
you feel very ill. They contain a chemical, coprine, which is similar to
disulfiram (Antabuse) sometimes given to alcoholics to stop them drinking.
And yes, I suppose I am the resident mycologist. I've been picking (and
eating) wild mushrooms for about 15 years and I've never died once.
