Got an idea. How about this year when i send him his card, i invite him on a
date? i will tell him what pub and what time, if he comes he comes if he

It's an pretty good idea - but look, inviting someone out on short
notice often means you'll be clashing with something they've already got
planned. If he doesn't take you up on the offer, it's not necessarily
`it' in that way. And there could be all sorts of worries too. But
it's a pretty good idea, I reckon.

He does know they are from me by the way just
to clear up any misgivings you may have.

Umm. If you've been sending such cards to the same `him' for a while
and he's not taken any sort of a hint, that could be a sign that he's
not taking the message seriously; or it could be a sign that he's not
interested in that way. Or it could be something else - but those are
the two main alternatives, I reckon.

But: there's something over 3,000,000,000 blokes in the world.
Concentrating all your attention on one who doesn't really seem to
notice your interest seems a little - well...
