That is the typical cop out irresponsible social worker line of
defence.
The bottom line is if they have failed to take a child into care when
they should have done then they have got it wrong equally so if they
take a child from the care of his/her parent or parents when it is not
warranted.

What is puke making is when a child dies due to social service
incompetence that results in numerous warning signs being missed or
ignored and then social services make out nobody was to blame.

With such a predilection for collective lack of honesty and
responsibility there is little emphasis for learning valuable lessons
to minimise the chance of such a thing happening again.

Social workers are human they make mistakes but that's not the
problem. The abject failure, so often, to take responsibility for
those mistakes is.

Over here the state employs people that can't get jobs anywhere else, so
they have the dumbest, laziest employees imaginable.
