Hi Mandy,

Yesterday the tabloids ran a story of how intelligence tests on dogs
showed that mongrels are better learners than pure-bred animals.

One of the tabloids then went on to the Guide Dogs Association, who
said that currently they supplied more pure-bred guide dogs than cross-
breeds, but their experiences supported the research and in future
they would be aiming to supply more cross-breeds than pure-breds.

So I'm afraid that if you recycle a guide dog, you're probably not
going to end up with a doggy Einstein :(
