serious post, how can I stop myself falling in love again? really I'm
such a dim-wit, still loving the last bloke & now falling in love with
another on-line already & meeting a third on Friday.
What you describe above is not love.Love has many forms, people love their children differently to
partners, differently to nature/creation; their is altruistic love,
there is loving being with someone/talking to someone.
Some people, I've realised, do not have any conception of what love
can be when it is not ego-centered.
What you describe above very much sounds
like your mind or emotions are desperately
trying to fill some holes.
In such a state of mind, almost anybody who
is willing will be good enough. No, that is not love.
It might lead to immediately fulfilment of some needs,
but it is likely to cause pain down the road.
Some truth in what you say but my point is, how can you possibly know
*what* I feel & why.
Obviously, I do not know exactly what you feel,
but you do match a pattern that can be seen on
depression support newsgroups several times each year.
Dating multiple people at the same time is fine.
Thinking that you love three of them at the same time
is emotionally unhealthy. It prevents you from making
good decisions for yourself.
