Hiya everyone

I was just wondering if anyone thought of getting a dog to help with their
depression?

Having a dog means leaving the house at least once a day to take it for
walks and they give unconditional love and countless kisses when you need
them!  They also lick the tears away when they come!

Me and Steve (the hubby) are thinking of getting a Golden Retriever from
somewhere as they are, apparently, really patient and loving which is great
for me as I'm not exactly steady on my feet and they love to learn so it'll
keep us both (me and the dog) occupied!

Just thought I'd mention it!

Sounds like it may be a good thing for the reasons you've outlined but
they do take a lot of care - time & money; guess you knew that though.
