I am on this Mirtazapine, 45mg at night, and although I find it is doing a
fantastic job at getting rid of my depression completely, I just cannot get
out of bed in the mornings. I take it around 9pm at night and start feeling
a little drowsy three quarters of an hour later. ( not completely smashed,
but just a bit tired) I go to bed about 11:30pm and have no problem getting
of to sleep, the problem is in the mornings, I set my alarm for about 8am ,
but simply find it impossible to drag myself out of bed, I then end up
getting up about 12 or 1pm and feel annoyed with myself because half the
day is gone. but apart from that I feel fine. Has anyone discovered a way
to overcome this "side effect"
cheers
Bob

I had pretty much the opposite. I was on 45mg and I managed to get about 3
hours sleep a night, tops. I ended up stopping it because not sleeping
really messes me up.
