it just sounds so yummy!!!!

Damn, now I do too. It is yummy, when done even half well. But I just
had a big serving of moussaka, so I must resist.

when i was a kid, there was a little "fish n chips" place near my home,
and
they served them in that kewl wax paper and everything. i wish there
were
still places like that around here. i understand that in england, you
can
still get them like that???

Certainly! (And of course in all other countries of the UK). There are
both mobile and static purveyors. Most also serve 'pies' of various
sorts, as well as sometimes other local things such as Saveloys, baps,
deep-fried Mars bars, deep-fried pizza slices, even "Chinese" dishes or
"curry". Most are 'take-away' but some have restaurant seating (or at
least, seats) on the premises.

deep fried mars bars???!!!!

One is seldom far from a chippy in a British town.

oh man....<boo hoo hoo>...I WANT SOME!!!!!
