There were swallows nesting in my mum and dad's porch this year. They
didn't seem unduly bothered by the fact people were going in and out of
the
front door all the time. I saw the nest at the very early stage, when it
was just built, and when we visited again, the chicks had grown pretty
big.
By the end of the time we were there, they were flying around properly.
The
best bit was watching them learn to fly, though it didn't take long; just
one morning.

Hi Rosemary,
Isn't it great just watching it all? They just get on and do what has to
be done. Some people don't see the magic. I for one think these guys are far
smarter than us.
