Anyone with any brains can see that death causes the end of the
biological systems which support that `thing' we call `ourselves'.

While there is puzzling evidence to explain, it seems to me that all
suggestions that there might be some retention of character and memory
after death are nothing but wishful thinking.

Certainly, modern science has no way of explaining how `life after
death' as the sloppy thinkers put it might work and modern science is
capable of explaining some seriously freaky stuff.

The last time the cloud decided to stay I'd sleep with a knife under
my pillow - for when it should get too much - cos lets face it night
times are hell. I feel myself wanting to do that again.

it would be better to lock the knife up and plan more rational (and safe!)
means of escaping the pain of the night.
