I got dla about 9 years ago for three years but as far as this claim
goes its the first time it is very very usual to have to go to appeal
its the concentration it requires that is beating me
God, I know what you mean. Why does it have to be such a long form?
To reduce the number of applications, obviously.
Also
I wish that they'd design a form for DLA that's tailored to people
applying solely for mental health reasons - a lot of the questions are
irrelevant, and there are things you need to tell them about which will
affect the rate you get that don't really fit into any of the questions
they have you answer, so you have to kind of shoehorn them into a box
where they don't quite fit right. That's all you can do, cause you have
to put these things in, otherwise they won't recognise how much help you
actually need. Grrr :-)
I'm pretty sure it's all deliberate policy enacted to reduce the number
of applications - putting any barrier in the way of claimants that they
can get away with, in short.
Rowland.
