That's never happened to me... I know I'm ugly!

Actually, it's a lot more likely that you're far too good looking.
How do you work that out?
Scares us off, that does. Any normal bloke realises that he's got no
chance with the *really* good looking lasses.
Any normal bloke realises that the good looking lasses are just as
available as the ugly ones you go for, maybe even more so as they
haven't got loons like you asking them out :-) It's quite right and
proper that you limit yourself to the dogs :-)
I am really intrigued now, any chance you can post a picture of becs,
maybe put her up on hotornot :-)
Hence the advice on <http://www.arrse.co.uk/> (don't have a link; can't
find it right now) that a soldier on a night out should select a
not-too-ugly woman right at the start and concentrate his attentions on
her, to avoid the problem of failing to pick up the stunner he'd've
preferred and being left with one of the real trolls at the end of
evening who might look all right when you're that drunk but there's
always the morning after to consider. It is a Web site for soldiers, I
should note. Most deplorable but that can't be helped; and I can't help
laughing which I suppose makes me just as deplorable. As they say
elsewhere, Britain needs soldiers: someone's got to shag the ugly women.
Mind you, it does have some highly interesting information. I didn't
know, for example, that the SAS are so highly trained in covert
operations that they can sneak in to Netto, steal a 24 pack of
wifebeater, drink it, and put the empty case back on the shelf before
anyone's noticed.
