Sorry for the OT message but I'm hoping someone in here can help me please?

You know we'd never upbraid you for OT posts.

Thank you!

One of the courses I'm going to start studying tomorrow is hypnotherapy and
I've already had a request from a friend to do it on him. He lives quite a
way away from me so I'm thinking of putting the hypnosis onto a CD and
sending it off to him so that he can do it when he wants to without worrying
about travelling... trouble is I don't know how to record stuff onto CD!

I dunno, hold the CD to your face and yell really loud?

Doesn't work! :o(

Steve (hubby and tech support usually) says I need a microphone and
something or other to plug in to the computer, some software and a blank CD.
The blank CD isn't a problem and I can buy a microphone but it's the thing I
need help with is the doberry that needs to plug in to the computer... does
anyone know what Steve is talking about please? If you know what he's on
about can you explain it to this dumbo in words of one sylable please?

My computer doesn't have a doberry, but when I want to plug in a microphone
I go to my sound card, to the spot which has the microphone jack and I plug
it in there. On my laptop I have a port for a microphone with the
appropriate microphone symbol on it. Every version of Windows that I know
of has a rudimentary sound recorder program. Plug in the microphone, fire
up the recorder, and talk away. It will create a .wav file which you can
burn onto a CD. (Or why not e-mail it to the prat?) If you have a shitty
Apple computer, I can't help you!

I've got a new (a couple of weeks old) computer that has Windoze Vista on it but other than that you've lost me! Sorry!

Well, the problem I see here though, is you have no way to wave a pocket
watch on a chain in front of the subject. From what I've heard you can't
hypnotize someone without a pocket watch.

You can't hypnotise anyone who doesn't want to be hypnotised as it's a sense of deep relaxation and the client can wake up at any time they want to! :o)

there's a different bike that'll do the journey with greater ease.
