anaesthetist.
In the 21st century NHS? That'd be something to see, that would.
Rowland.
I had an operation a few years ago and the anaesthetist visited me
beforehand and answered all my questions easing my worries. I was
worried that I'd come round during surgery but he reassured me that
wouldn't happen because they monitor you during surgery. And he popped
round a day after surgery to make sure my pain was being kept at bay by
the morphine etc.
My experiences of the NHS have always been ok.
anaesthetist came and visited us too, he explained everything he was going
to do in great detail, we then had one of the surgical staff visit us and
tell us what they were going to do, even had the surgeon himself come and
see us while our son was on the recovery ward... I seem to have been
treated the same way as you....:-)
