I remember when I was growing up it was a rare treat and I would swap my dad the steak from my steak and kidney pie for the kidney from his. I know it's a pee filter and all that, but they taste fantastic, I think I will try and hunt some down.
To equal my disgustingness, you must also admit you begged for the blood from the bottom of the roasting tin from roast beef etc.

Even independent butchers who do their own butchery won't sell me brains since mad-cow disease :(
