Today I had a lasagne for dinner (actually that makes 3 days in a row

It's just very depressing.

There is nothing nice that I experience in my life and there hasn't been
for many years. I wish you hadn't mentioned the matter - it just
reminds me how worthless and unbearably painful every passing minute has
been for years.

Can you see? then there must be something nice you can look at, ditto
the other senses. Can you walk? Then there must be somewhere fairly
nice you could go?
If not, I agree, depressing.
