Aside from the pain and the cough, it all sounds rather cheery ;-)

*ALL*?!?! I don't see how my friend's husband being shipped off to Iraq, to
be bombed and mortared, with the knowledge that he might not be allowed back
for the birth of his second child (unless Abby has problems during labour, in
which case it will be designated a Category B emergency, and the army will
pull out nearly all the stops to get him home - a Category A is if someone is
dying and has less than 24 hours to live; though, I'm sure, if the birth was
going to cause the death of either his wife or child, then it'd be elevated
to a Category A), leaving his 2-year-old daughter and 8-year-old stepson, to
participate in a needless, pointless and irrelevant war is in any way, shape
or form, "cheery".

Do you have *ANY* respect for humanity *AT ALL*?!? We're talking about a
father, husband, son and brother here.

And how is the recurrence of my friend's depression, caused by the stress and
worry of his imminent departure, "cheery"?! Okay, she knew she was marrying
into the army, but that doesn't make it any easier - and their daughter is
just at the age when she's beginning to pick up on things like that. She's
seen it from both sides - her father, as I mentioned, was also in the army.

Your lack of empathy has stopped ceasing to amaze me. Are there no depths to
which you will not sink?!

You might as well wish him dead! You git! You evil, sadistic, callous,
egocentric, git!
