That's tough luck, i'm afraid.

That's not your decision to make.

We are all of us here implicated in your fate, whether you like it or not.
No one is here is truly an isolate. And i don't think you really believe
that, either; why else would you post on a /public/ newsgroup like this?

"If there were in the world a sincere and total pessimism, it would of
necessity be silent. The despair which finds a voice is a social mood, it
is the cry of misery which brother utters to brother when both are stumbling
through a valley of shadows which is peopled with comrades. In its anguish
it bears witness to something that is good in life, for it presupposes
sympathy . . . The real gloom, the sincere despair, is dumb and blind; it
writes no books, and feels no impulse to burden an intolerable monument more
lasting than brass" - Miguel de Unamuno.

In a world awash with apathy, poor little Sandra's problem is that people
care too much about her.

And if no one cared, you'd be complaining about that, as well.

And you know what? Some of us - perhaps many of us of us - /choose/ to be
there for you.

Some us think you are worth the risk of being 'pulled down' with you. Some
of us can't stand to one side and do nothing while our friend goes under.

This is /my/ decision to make, not yours. I know the risks and i accept
them.

Any life worth living is full of such risks. You are worth this risk, and
there is nothing you can say to convince me otherwise. Believe me, if i
didn't think you were, you wouldn't see me for dust.

I don't know what that means. Sorry :-(

Perhaps that is because you have been trying so hard to isolate yourself.

The old adage is true, you know: "A problem shared is a problem halved."

If things are tough right now, lean on the people here, lean on your family,
lean on your friends.

I can't speak for anyone else, but i'd rather you do that than denied me the
chance to help you before you do something stupid. That's all i ask, for a
chance to help you, in whatever limited capacity i can.

Don't shut us out. We are here for you, whether you want us to be or not.
No matter how much you may wish to delude yourself, you are not alone.

Your actions have consequences.

You are surrounded by people who love you and who care about you.
