I'm all aches and pains today after I fell down a couple of concrete steps
on the garden pat yesterday, whilst hanging out some washing. I had the
presence of mind to curl up and roll when I reached the ground, so I
think I've managed to avoid any worse damage. Didn't bang my head, but
my back and right hip (yes the troublesome one) suffered a bit of jarring.
No visible sigh of any bruising but muscles are feeling a bit stiff. All
I can think of, is that whist I was reaching up to put pegs on the
washing line I stepped off the top step into space with the right leg.
It's only a 6" high step but a large enough drop to start me tilting over
at a more than precarious angle. The distance to the second step is
between 3' to 4' and just enough distance for almost a complete roll
before going over the second step. I think that's the point I caught my
back, after the complete roll. I'm feeling quite a silly Billy now after
doing something so stupid. Just a split second of carelessness.

Oh dear. Hope the aches and pains improve today and there is no hidden
damage.

People will forget what you did, but
People will never forget how you made them feel.
