I'm not a big choccy fan but I do like my Aero snack size peppermint when I
sit down to watch telly. For years I've bought a pack of 10 when I shop for
the weekly groceries. Last month after the VAT rise they became a pack of
nine, sneaky VAT excuse but they weren't alone. A couple of weeks ago they
all disappeared off the shelf in Morrisons. The *reason* I got from (
according to his name badge ) the assistant manager was * well Cadbury buy
the shelf space and they decide what goes there, they must be promoting
different things* OK I knew Walkers bought a lot of space for their crisps
so I might have accepted that but for the fact that it's Nestle who make
Aero not Cadbury. Don't assistant managers need to know a little about what
they stock ?
So I popped in to Tesco and got them but now not only did I get the last
peppermint ones from Tesco the shelf ticket has disappeared just the same as
in Morrisons which usually means they won't stock them any more. I checked
http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk and they only show them as available from
Tesco. I could tell that that won't be for long :-)
That ghost who follows me around shops and gets thing I like taken out of
stock I had been used to but I suspect Nestle have stopped manufacturing
them :-( Has anybody noticed them anywhere or are my suspicions correct ? I
may boycott Nestle products if they have :-)
