This being the case, what do others use as a DTP and what would they advise, please? My most critical need is the ability to produce booklets and my ability to learn totally new proceedures is, to say the least, limited (CRAFT & DUST syndromes).

Any advice offered would be gradely appreciated.

I have Serif PagePlus. My sister uses Publisher which I've tried on her PC. For me PagePlus is a better option. It does everything Publisher does and is much more intuitive.
