Surely "photo's" is an abbreviation of "photographs" and as such needs an apostrophe?
Geoff.
then again, 'photo' is a word in its own right?
so, does one write "photo's" meaning "of a photo" or does one write "photo's" wrongly, intending to mean "many of them"? :-)
OED has this to say about 'photo':-
"[Shortened < PHOTOGRAPH n. (originally as graphic abbreviation: see note); partly also (especially in use as adjective) shortened < PHOTOGRAPHIC adj."
