Indeed. About a week ago my sense of balance, which I'd spent a goodly
part of last year regaining, unaccountably deserted me. I was back to
using a walking stick around the house and lacking the confidence to
venture outside.

I was warned last year my sense of balance would be clobbered by the
slightest infection. Dunno what I've got now. No runny nose or sore head
yet I can hardly walk and want to spend most of the day asleep. Suits my
black-hearted, black-furred Bombay siblings from hell.

Sounds like a spot of Labrynthitis to be. Its caused by an infection that
affects the iner ear canal. Its a hugly disorientating thing to have! I
had a bad touch of it a couple of years ago, its no fun!
