Re: UPS medical panel

My husband has this problem - his dentist gave him some exercises to do
which work if he remembers to keep them up. If he does get pain he
sometimes uses a "Search & Stim" pen we bought nearly 3 years ago (here in
Australia) for arthritis in my ankle. It's a bit like a Tens machine or
electronic (battery operated) acupuncture device.I had a look on the web
and it seems that particular model has become much more expensive AU$145
and/or been discontinued. I only paid $50 for ours.A phsyio I went to
recommended these sort of devices and I know that other people have
obtained pain relief for various ailments from them. As they are not cheap
it might be worth seeing if you can borrow one from someone to see if it
works for you - pain seems to be a very individual thing. It seems to work
better for my husband than it does on my ankle! Hope you find something
that works for you Sue G

Anyone got any suggestions about treating Temporal Mandibular
Disorder? (That's a nagging ache in the jaw from ear to teeth.)
I've scanned the web and apart from taking aspirin (which does help a
bit) and not grinding ones teeth (now, I ask you, would I grind my
teeth?) the advice is all a bit vague.
'Just wondered if anyone has any pet remedies.
