Thanks for the updates. Sorry to hear about Noreen and Mrs WO. It must
be very frustratinhg to be in hospital and keep being knocked back by
infections and things. How on earth could someone have a broken hip
without knowing it! I would have thought getting around would have
been impossible.

Sad too to hear that Gizmo has gone although he was getting on a bit
and we all knew he wouldn't be around too much longer. I used to look
forward to hearing about his antics. He certainly landed on his feet
when he ended up with FN and hopefully FN gets some (a lot) of
consolation from knowing he always gave him the best possible care.

I'm not sure what to say about my situation. Not a lot has changed.
The aphasia doesn't seem to be getting any worse but then any change
would probably be quite slow so it's difficult to tell. I gather it's
possible that it might just stay at the present level. I'm supposed to
be socialising as much as possible and getting involved in
conversations but that's easier said than done.

I'm still getting really uptight over really silly, minor things on a
daily basis. As long as that goes on I'll continue to keep a low
profile and avoid Usenet. I miss UPS and hope I may be able to return
sometime but crtainly not at tyhe moment.
