No, it's Luu Tran's fault for setting the default to 'Store nothing'.

To fix it, select 'Storage Options' from the Group menu, and put a dot
next to (.) Store Headers Only, and click 'Okay'.

Thanks so much for that! I like Xnews but have never really got my head
around the help files. I must confess I was going to go to Outlook and
download all the groups there again!!! This way I only had to redownload
