Have just phoned and confirmed what Peter C said.

Could you clarify for a NoseyBoo please? It seems that you have to
download a form and fill it in to get this payment, I thought that
it was paid automatically?
Just wondering, cos if it has to be applied for then I know folk who
wont be aware of that and would like to tell them to be sure to do
it.
If you have previously been awarded the allowance you will continue
to get it. The form is for "newbies" who have just turned 60 who
don't get it who will have to apply.
Gander.
But, at this time of massive increases in fuel costs, the 'allowance' has
been cut from £200 to £125. Good on ya Darling....NOT!
