There is the situation that many NHS dentists will not take people who
are
on benefits that entitle them to free treatment.

Don't forget that under the various devolution settlements, the conduct of
the NHS is reserved to the local government, as in the case of Scotland.

English taxpayers who do not wish their dental services to be privatised
out
of existence appear to have a fight on their hands.

But then, being English, they will not be short of fighting spirit, will
they?

Especially with us displaced Scots here to help the English.
A victory in Eastbourne today that stopped specialist maternity services
from being moved to Hastings. Now the problem is to make sure that they do
not take the money away from other areas.
